Life IFRS17 Assistant Manager from a Life Insurer (Singapore)

Job Descriptions:

- Lead analysis of financial impact assessment for IFRS17
- Lead technical specification and testing on Datamart and SAS calculation for IFRS17 disclosure, support the design, develop and testing if IFRS17 implementation
- Produce and review prophet model results and implement changes to Prophet/DCS/IDR
- Review financial output from and implement configuration changes to DM/SAS calculation for IFRS17 purpose, developed as a subject matter expert on DM/SAS
- Conduct end-to-end testing and be a key SME to trouble shoot and propose the root cause of issues
- Consider business and regulatory compliance risks and be aware of potential impact from the decisions made, takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, emerging threats when collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to understand the implication and better safeguard the company
- Highlights any potential concerns and risks and proactively shares best practices.

 

Job Requirements:

- Degree holder in Actuarial Science 
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of actuarial experience in life insurance (hands on working experience in prophet system, quarterly reserve movement analysis, IFRS reporting...etc)
- SQL skills, SAS skills, experience in valuation system transformation and data science is a plus
