Takaful IFRS17 Actuarial Manager from a Direct Insurer (Malaysia)

IFRS17 Reporting:
Key Responsibilities on IFRS17 tasks:
- To perform and able to explain the key drivers for IFRS17 Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting work within the agreed timeline.
- To review and optimize the Budgeting and Forecasting process, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Strengthen control to prevent process reruns.
- To perform IFRS17 financial impact assessment for annual assumption review, expense study and etc.
- To ensure IFRS17 Reports are produced with accurate results and to provide day-to day technical and managerial guidance to the Actuarial workstream.
- To lead the local implementation of IFRS17 solution enhancements/Day 2 items and actuarial model enhancement, collaborating with group office and local actuarial modelling team.
- To support on other projects e.g. actuarial related components for BNM Insurance and Takaful System Redevelopment (ITSR) and etc.
- To ensure proper SOP documentation.
- To build the capacity and experience of the team through training of junior team members.

Entry Qualification and Experience:
- Relevant work experience in the Life / Takaful industry
- Good progress on actuarial exams
- Proficient in using Prophet, Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in English
