Job Responsibilities:
Reporting into the AVP, R&D in Asia, the role is to support the delivery of the company’s actuarial bases for the Asia business unit.

The role is part of the Asia R&D team which is responsible for leading the development of Terms of Trade across all our lines of business and territories within Asia.

This covers the standard assumptions used for pricing and the valuation of in force business. This role would be based in Singapore, in line with the majority of the rest of the team. details+

Job Responsibilities:
- Design UI/UX for the actuarial software according to the requirements of the actuarial team and clients
- Create new software and perform ongoing maintenance work, including but not limited to, implementing new features and enhancements, fixing bugs and errors, writing documentation
- Setup and perform unit tests on the new and existing software
- Deploy software to the development and production environment details+

- Regulatory changes, including IFRS17 and Risk-Based Capital
- Actuarial Valuation, embedded value reviews, regulatory related reviews
- Performance evaluation in areas related to financial risks, product distribution and capital issues
- Advanced financial modelling approaches and systems e.g., designing valuation and Asset Liability Management frameworks details+

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis of financial impact assessment for IFRS17
- Lead technical specification and testing on Datamart and SAS calculation for IFRS17 disclosure, support the design, develop and testing if IFRS17 implementation
- Produce and review prophet model results and implement changes to Prophet/DCS/IDR details+

Job Responsibilities:
- To be an ALM champion in the Capital Management team to manage all ALM activities including duration management, hedging, risk capital management, the economic assumptions
- To perform Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) study optimize the return over the associated risk
- To support capital management projects such as dividend, par management
- To be a liaison with investment manager
- To initiate ALM initiatives to improve company’s KPIs

- IFRS17 analysis and report.
- New Business Value and Market Consistent Valuation: produce New Business Value and Economic Capital analysis and report.
- Carry out local regulatory financial reporting for Business Units in the region.
- Develop, enhance, and review Prophet Models in accordance with the Prophet Development Framework
- Produce documentation for the Prophet developments.
- Provide guidance to junior actuaries for Prophet modelling activities. details+

- Lead the process of end-to-end new product development from technical product development through to system implementation, including the necessary approval processes.
- Support the Company in developing the product strategy including the product roadmap, as aligned with the customer proposition.
- Proactively and frequently improve the product pricing process through automation, Prophet pricing, and reconciliation with valuation model. details+

- Conduct and drive MAS Stress test and ORSA reporting.
- Derive the protected liabilities required for Policyholders Protection Fund (PPF) reporting.
- Perform sensitivity analysis on reserves and solvency.
